My name is Julie Steves and I have been living in Vermont for the past 23 years. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from The College of Wooster in Ohio, then my Master’s Degree in Curriculum at Southern New Hampshire University (Formerly Trinity College Masters in Ed. Program) and my Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Reading and Language Arts from St. Michael’s College . This is my first year teaching at Milton Middle School. Previously, I taught at Fletcher Elementary as their Literacy Specialist/Coach for the past 14 years.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. On most weekends you can find me snowboarding on the mountain or biking a scenic trail by the lake. I love music, reading, swimming and yoga. Currently, I am working with the middle school ELA teachers as the reading interventionist in and out of the classroom. I love working with middle school students and sharing my love of reading with them.
