Education/Experience
After earning a bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2011, I moved back to Vermont to teach pre-kindergarten at a private preschool. After five years and an additional degree, in Early Childhood Education, I worked at an alternative school as a middle school behavior interventionist for two years and subsequently taught grades kindergarten through three at the same school. In 2021 I began my career in public education as an alternative education teacher for grades kindergarten through grade three for two years. I earned my master's degree in Educational Leadership and Management from Fitchburg State University in May of 2023. I began my journey at Milton Middle School in 2023.
Interests/Hobbies
I enjoy live music, reading, being outside, playing disc golf and soccer, and spending time with my dog.
A little about me.
I grew up in Vermont and ventured to South Carolina to attend college. I enjoy the beauty that Vermont has to offer and could not resist moving back. I currently live in Swanton, with my husband Dan and our dog Stella.
